Assistant Store Manager

We are currently seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and help lead our team.
Position Overview
The Assistant Store Manager works closely with the Store Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, outstanding customer service, and a positive work environment for employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a welcoming store environment
- Supervise employees and assist with scheduling and shift coverage
- Help manage inventory, ordering, and product stocking
- Assist with store banking procedures and cash handling
- Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Enforce company policies and support operational excellence
- Support deli operations when needed, including food preparation and service
Requirements
- Previous retail experience required; convenience store or grocery experience preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computers and retail systems
- Positive attitude with strong customer service skills
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
