What is the Position?

PartsBadger is seeking a CAM Programmer to collaborate with a small team dedicated to the success of our customers.

The FastLane program is automating high-mix low-volume work utilizing our advanced software and robotics to drastically speed up the time it takes to get jobs produced.  It's our goal to build the most responsive manufacturing cells on the planet to serve our 3,000 customers across the United States.

This position includes reviewing, updating, and creating 3+2 CAM programs in Fusion 360 for automated manufacturing. Coordinating with a team you will be the technical expert on the team to ensure that all programs are sufficient and that best practices are updated to get the highest first-part success rate.  We are a high-mix low volume job shop, which means lots of unique parts which require creative solutions which are then rolled into best practices.  An ambitious, detail-oriented, and fast-working individual will thrive in this role. Work Environment:

PartsBadger is a relaxed, casual work environment located in West Bend and Cedarburg, WI. PartsBadger maintains AS9100 and ISO9001:2015 certifications. Our West Bend location boasts 20,000 sqft dedicated to our advanced manufacturing (FastLane) program, and 15,000 sq. ft in Cedarburg that blends office and production space.  We are a job shop with a large variety of part types, sizes and quantities. We work with almost every material available including steels, aluminums, exotics, plastics and more. We continue to develop the layout of our space for idea generation and collaborative work.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Day to Day

• CNC CAM Program Creating, Reviewing and Editing (Fusion 360)
• Keyence IM Programming and Editing
• CAD Modeling
• Troubleshooting Issues/Tickets
• Meetings with Programming Team
• Updating Programmer Feedback & Best Practices 
• Testing tooling, new programming methods and approaches
• Ordering Tooling/Material as needed

Management

• Participate in interviews and advise in hiring decisions with HR. 
• Supervise employee training needs, coordinate with HR 

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with various programming software (MasterCam, Fusion360, Esprit, etc)
• Ability to quickly learn new applications (Fusion360)
• Experience with Programming Haas Machines 
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Machining Industry tooling knowledge
• GD&T Knowledge 
• 3+ Years Machining Experience
• Ability to Multi-Task, Prioritize, and Manage Time Effectively
• Adaptive and Flexible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fusion 360 Experience
• Keyence IM Programming Experience
• Experience with CRM Software
