Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure the accuracy of our accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various accounting software and principles, with a focus on maintaining financial integrity and compliance with GAAP standards. This role requires a proactive approach to bookkeeping, including managing accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.

Skills

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Quicken, Sage, Xero, or similar accounting software is essential.
  • Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles as well as non-profit and governmental accounting practices.
  • Familiarity with public accounting standards and technical accounting concepts.
  • Expertise in double entry bookkeeping and general ledger reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to perform account analysis and prepare detailed financial reports effectively.
  • Knowledge of budgeting techniques and financial forecasting methods.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent 10-key typing skills for accurate data entry.
