Job Description
We are seeking an Inventory Control Clerk IV (Tier 2) to join our team in a manufacturing and distribution environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in advanced inventory control operations and systems and a proven ability to independently resolve complex variances and optimize material flow.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day inventory control support to manufacturing and distribution areas.
- Plan and execute cycle counts, coordinate physical inventories, and reconcile results.
- Research inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
- Use inventory control systems and reporting tools to manage material flow and maintain records of quantities, costs, and transactions.
- Requisition supplies and verify receipts, identifying physical and financial variances.
- Inspect materials and reject defective items per policy.
- Prepare inventory records and reports, investigating discrepancies in stock counts.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with independent judgment.
- Ability to inspect materials and enforce quality standards.
- Forklift operation capability per site requirements.
- 5-10 years of relevant inventory control experience.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Process improvement or lean inventory practices.

- Work on site required: No. First shift.
- Overtime: Yes. Hours per day: 8.
