Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate and responsible Food Runner to join our team at Wagyu Factory Mountain View. This role is a key part of our front of house operations, ensuring excellent customer service, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

- Wage: Starting at $19.7 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately deliver food from the expo counter to the correct table
- Confirm orders with kitchen staff, noting any modifications or special requests
- Communicate with servers to support guest needs and service flow
- Ensure guests have proper tableware and respond to requests promptly
- Assist with table setup, dining area cleanliness, and end-of-shift cleanup
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Follow daily checklists, SOPs, and company policies
- Communicate effectively with teammates and stay calm under pressure
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of experience in a large fast-paced restaurant, preferably with Hotpot or Japanese cuisine
- Demonstrates effective oral & written communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Strong coordination, stamina, and multitasking ability
- Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
- Fluent in English; bilingual a plus
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
