Position Overview
We are seeking for a Payroll Specialist who is detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about payroll accuracy and compliance. In this role, you will be responsible for processing payroll for employees across multiple restaurant locations, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries.
You will work closely with Human Resources, Operations, and Finance to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.

Work Location: Hybrid/Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Annual Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 (based on experience and qualifications), subject to applicable federal, state, and local tax withholding. Additional performance-based bonuses may apply.

Start Date: Upon onboarding completion, all required pre-employment notices and documents will be provided at or before the start date, as required by law.

Qualifications
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in payroll, accounting, finance, human resources, or administrative support preferred.
Familiarity with payroll software such as Gusto, ADP, Paychex, or similar payroll systems is a plus.
Understanding of payroll taxes, wage and hour laws, overtime calculations, and labor compliance is preferred.
Experience supporting multi-location or hospitality operations is a plus.
Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are a plus.
