Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced *Restaurant General Manager* to lead our team in delivering an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, comprehensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent food quality, managing staff and food safety standards, and maintaining excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. The Restaurant General Manager will be instrumental in driving the success of our restaurant by implementing operational strategies, controlling costs, and fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion
  • Supervise teams to maintain efficient workflow and uphold food safety standards
  • Control inventory levels, manage food and beverage costs, and ensure proper stock rotation
  • Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures and reconciliation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation standards
  • Implement policies for quality assurance, customer service excellence, and operational efficiency
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, sales analysis, and cost control measures
  • Lead efforts in staff training programs focused on culinary skills, customer service, and hospitality management
  • Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes guest satisfaction and repeat business

Experience

  • Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments
  • Extensive background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant management roles
  • Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food production processes
  • Experience managing diverse teams within high-volume environments; training & development background preferred
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
