Math Instructor (Part-Time) – Aliana

We are hiring a Math Instructor in Aliana who is passionate, friendly, and enthusiastic about working with kids.
This Instructor role is ideal for team members who enjoy helping students grow in confidence, building relationships with families, and making math approachable and fun.

No teaching experience required — we provide paid training and will teach you everything you need to know!

Quick Role Summary

As a Math Instructor, you will deliver one-to-one and small-group math instruction in a supportive learning center environment. You’ll help students strengthen foundational math skills, develop confidence, and build a positive relationship with learning.

This position is perfect for individuals interested in education, tutoring, customer service, or a future teacher or instructor career path.

What You Will Do

• Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor
• Teach math concepts through Algebra
• Create a welcoming, motivating learning environment for students and families
• Motivate and inspire students to learn and build confidence
• Track and communicate student progress with the Center Director and team
• Follow Mathnasium’s proven instructional methodology
• Assist with daily center operations as needed
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and leadership

Requirements

• Ability to teach math concepts up to Algebra
• Friendly, outgoing, and student-focused attitude
• Ability to connect with both parents and students
• Experience working with children preferred
• Experience in customer service and/or sales is a plus
• Interest in a long-term instructor or education-focused role

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time Instructor position.
Schedules vary by center but typically include:

• Weekday afternoons and evenings
• Weekend mornings and afternoons

Candidates available throughout the school year and beyond are highly preferred.
