Lead Instructor – Mathnasium (Circle C Ranch)

We are hiring a Lead Instructor in Circle C Ranch to support instructional excellence and provide on-site leadership during center hours. This Lead Instructor role is ideal for experienced instructors, teachers, or educators who are ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to work directly with students.

The Lead Instructor position plays a critical role in maintaining instructional quality, coaching instructors and teachers, and ensuring a consistent, positive center experience for students and families.

Quick Role Summary

As a Lead Instructor, you will manage the classroom during instructional hours, coach and train instructors and teachers, and ensure students receive effective, engaging math instruction using the Mathnasium Method. You will act as Manager on Duty and assume Center Director responsibilities when needed.

This role blends education, leadership, classroom management, and customer experience.

What You Will Do

• Manage the center during instructional hours as Lead Instructor
• Coach, train, and support instructors and teachers
• Ensure consistent use of the Mathnasium Method
• Assign students to instructors and manage student-to-instructor ratios
• Act as Manager on Duty, including opening and closing the center
• Conduct center tours and consultative enrollment conversations with families
• Schedule assessments and support student enrollment
• Review student progress and instructional needs with the Center Director
• Provide performance feedback to instructors
• Participate in local marketing and community outreach events
• Maintain a fun, positive, and productive learning environment

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities

• Strong knowledge of math concepts through 12th grade
• Excellent communication skills with students, parents, instructors, and teachers
• Ability to build strong relationships and deliver solutions
• Demonstrated leadership and sound judgment in fast-paced environments
• Ability to train, coach, and engage instructional staff
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Docs
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required; some college preferred

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time Lead Instructor role.

Typical schedule includes:

• Monday–Thursday: 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 20–25 hours per week based on center needs
