Responsibilities
- Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group math instruction as a Math Instructor
- Create a welcoming, encouraging learning environment for students and families
- Help students build confidence, motivation, and strong math skills
- Follow Mathnasium’s teaching and instructional methods (full training provided)
- Track and communicate student progress to Center Managers and team members
- Support daily center operations and classroom flow
- Work collaboratively with other instructors, teachers, and center leadership
Requirements
- Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to connect with both children and parents
- Reliable and able to work afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
- Interest in working with kids in an instructor, tutor, or teacher role
- Experience with children is preferred but not required
Schedule & Availability
This is a flexible part-time Math Instructor position designed to work well for college students, future educators, and professionals seeking afternoon and evening hours.
Most shifts take place:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings
- Weekends as needed
Preferred availability begins at 3:00 PM on weekdays.
