Instructor – Mathnasium (North Johns Creek)
We are hiring an Instructor in North Johns Creek to join our team of passionate educators who enjoy helping students succeed in math. This Instructor role is perfect for friendly, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with kids and want to make a meaningful impact in their community.
The Instructor position is a great opportunity for college students, tutors, teachers, and anyone interested in education and leadership development. We provide paid training and will teach you everything you need to know through the proven Mathnasium Method.
Quick Role Summary
As a Mathnasium Instructor, you will work directly with students to deliver engaging math instruction while building confidence and problem-solving skills. Instructors support individualized learning plans, motivate students, and create a welcoming environment where students feel encouraged to succeed.
This role blends education, mentorship, and relationship-building.

What You Will Do
- Deliver engaging and effective math instruction as a Mathnasium Instructor
- Create a positive and productive learning environment for students
- Motivate and inspire students to build confidence in math
- Support individualized student learning plans
- Track student progress and communicate with the Center Manager and team
- Assist with daily center operations as needed
- Help create a welcoming experience for students and families

Requirements
Primary Objectives & Skills
- Comfortable teaching math concepts up to Algebra
- Ability to connect with students and parents
- Experience working with children preferred
- Friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow as an instructor and teacher
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time Instructor position with flexible hours.
Typical schedule includes:
- Afternoons
- Evenings
- Weekends
