What You Will Do…

As the Center Director at Mathnasium of Keller, you will take ownership of the overall success of your learning center—leading your team, growing the business, and creating an exceptional experience for students and families.

This is not simply an administrative management position. Our Center Directors are business leaders who take accountability for their center's performance. You will oversee enrollment and retention, develop your team, build relationships within the Keller community, manage day-to-day operations, and drive your center toward its goals.

You’ll have the support, tools, training, and resources of the largest Mathnasium franchisee in the country while having the opportunity to lead your center with an entrepreneurial mindset.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Sales & Enrollment

  • Own and achieve monthly enrollment and revenue goals for the center
  • Lead initial assessments, consultations, and enrollment conversations with prospective families
  • Build trust with families by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate Mathnasium program
  • Confidently communicate the value of Mathnasium and overcome conversational objections
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective families and manage the center's lead pipeline
  • Monitor enrollment performance and take action to improve conversion when opportunities are identified

Student & Family Experience

  • Create an exceptional experience for every student and family
  • Develop strong, lasting relationships with parents and maintain proactive communication
  • Lead student progress conversations and help families understand the impact of their child's Mathnasium program
  • Identify and address concerns quickly, professionally, and with a solutions-focused approach
  • Drive student retention by ensuring families continue to see value, progress, and connection
  • Build a center culture where students are excited to learn and families feel connected to the Mathnasium community

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing instructional team
  • Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to Mathnasium and Fortis Franchise Group standards
  • Coach and develop employees through regular feedback, observation, and training
  • Create a positive, engaging, and performance-driven center culture
  • Identify future leaders and create opportunities for team members to grow
  • Ensure the center is appropriately staffed to support enrollment and instructional needs

Business & Center Operations

  • Take full ownership and accountability for the performance of the Keller center
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the learning center
  • Understand and monitor key performance indicators related to enrollment, retention, staffing, customer experience, and overall center performance
  • Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure an effective and efficient learning environment
  • Maintain high standards for center organization, appearance, and operational execution
  • Identify challenges, develop solutions, and take initiative without waiting to be directed
  • Partner with District and Regional leadership to develop and execute plans for continued center growth

Marketing & Community Engagement

  • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to generate awareness, leads, and enrollments
  • Build strong relationships with local schools, teachers, counselors, PTAs/PTOs, and community organizations
  • Represent Mathnasium at school and community events throughout the Keller area
  • Develop local partnerships and grassroots marketing opportunities
  • Consistently work toward established marketing and lead-generation goals
  • Position Mathnasium as a trusted educational resource within the Keller community

What We’re Looking For

Essential Talents & Skills

  • 1–2+ years of experience in business management, consultative sales, education, hospitality, customer service, or a related leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong sales and business-development mindset with the confidence to own and achieve performance goals
  • Advanced communication skills, including active listening, relationship building, assessing customer needs, recommending solutions, and overcoming conversational objections
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, develop, and hold a team accountable
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with accuracy and a sense of urgency
  • Self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative, making decisions, and solving problems independently
  • Strong empathy, professionalism, tact, and diplomacy when working with students, families, and employees
  • Ability to balance a passion for education with the business responsibilities of operating a successful learning center
  • Comfortable using data and performance metrics to identify opportunities and make decisions
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that may include afternoons, evenings, and weekends based on center needs
