Quick Role Summary
As a Math Instructor, you will work directly with students in a welcoming learning center, providing one-to-one and small-group instruction. This role includes supporting students in upper-level math, helping them gain confidence and mastery in Algebra 2 and Geometry.
This role is ideal for anyone interested in a teacher, tutor, or professional math instructor position.

Responsibilities
- Provide engaging one-to-one and small-group instruction as a Math Instructor
- Teach and support students in Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Create a welcoming, motivating, and productive learning environment
- Build confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence in students
- Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and team members
- Follow Mathnasium’s teaching and instructional methods
- Support daily center operations and teamwork
- Collaborate with fellow instructors, teachers, and leadership
Requirements
- Comfortable with math concepts through Algebra 2 and Geometry
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to connect with both students and parents
- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
- Interest in an instructor, tutor, or teacher-style role
- Reliable availability for afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Most shifts are scheduled in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
