Advanced Math Instructor (Part-Time) – Winter Park

As an Advanced Math Instructor, you will work with middle and high school students on upper-level math concepts, providing individualized and small-group instruction. Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality one-to-one and small-group instruction as an Advanced Math Instructor
• Teach and support students in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
• Create a welcoming, engaging, and productive learning environment
• Build confidence, independence, and critical-thinking skills in students
• Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and staff
• Follow Mathnasium’s instructional standards and teaching practices
• Support daily center operations and collaborate with the team
• Work closely with other instructors, teachers, and leadership

Requirements

• Strong math proficiency in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics (required)
• Friendly, professional, and student-focused demeanor
• Ability to connect with both students and parents
• High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• Experience working with children is preferred
• Interest in a teacher, tutor, or advanced instructor role
• Must pass an upper-level math proficiency test during the in-person interview

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time Advanced Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Most shifts are in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
We are seeking long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
