Lead Instructor – Mathnasium (McKinney)
We are hiring a Lead Instructor to join our Mathnasium Learning Center in McKinney. This leadership role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about mathematics, enjoy coaching others, and want to make a meaningful impact on students, families, and fellow team members.
As a Lead Instructor, you'll help create an exceptional learning experience by leading instructional quality, supporting daily center operations, mentoring instructors, and partnering with the Center Director to drive student success.

What You'll Do
As a Lead Instructor, you will:
- Teach students using the Mathnasium Method™
- Lead the classroom during instructional hours, ensuring an exceptional student experience
- Coach, mentor, and support a team of Math Instructors
- Assign students to instructors and manage student-to-instructor ratios
- Ensure instructional consistency and quality across the center
- Partner with the Center Director to monitor student progress and instructional needs
- Conduct center tours and support consultative enrollment conversations with prospective families
- Schedule student assessments and assist with enrollment activities
- Provide feedback to the Center Director on instructor performance and development
- Serve as Manager on Duty when needed, including opening and closing the center
- Participate in local marketing and community outreach events
- Help create a welcoming, engaging, and positive environment for students, families, and staff

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in math concepts through 12th-grade mathematics
- High school diploma or GED required
- Some college coursework preferred
- Experience working with children is preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with students, families, and staff
- Ability to assist with consultative enrollment conversations and overcome common objections
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to open and close the center independently (closing availability is required)
Schedule
This is a part-time leadership position, typically working 20–25 hours per week based on center needs.
Typical hours include:
- Monday–Thursday afternoons and evenings (generally 1:00 PM–8:00 PM)
- Saturdays (generally 10:00 AM–2:00 PM)
