Advanced Math Instructor – Mathnasium (Beach Blvd)
We are hiring an Advanced Math Instructor in Beach Blvd to support upper-level students and deliver high-quality instruction across advanced math topics.

Quick Role Summary
As an Advanced Math Instructor, you will work with students on higher-level math concepts while also supporting overall center instruction. You’ll deliver clear, engaging explanations, build student confidence, and ensure complex material is taught in a way that makes sense.
This role blends advanced instruction, mentorship, and student engagement in a structured, fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
- Teach students using the Mathnasium Method (no lesson planning required)
- Provide clear, effective instruction in advanced math topics
- Support students in Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics
- Break down complex concepts into understandable steps
- Build student confidence through encouragement and positive reinforcement
- Create an engaging, productive, and structured learning environment
- Track student progress and communicate with the team as needed
- Assist with general instructional support across all student levels
- Deliver an exceptional experience to students and families

Requirements
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Algebra I & II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics (REQUIRED)
- Ability to clearly explain complex math concepts
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive, patient, and engaging personality
- Ability to connect with students and build trust
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- High School diploma or G.E.D. required; some college strongly preferred (STEM majors encouraged)
- Experience working with students preferred
Additional Requirement
Candidates must pass an upper-level math proficiency assessment during the in-person interview.
Schedule & Availability
This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Typical availability includes:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings
- Weekend hours as needed
