Senior Manager, External Reporting

A global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, External Reporting to lead SEC reporting and compliance for the global manufacturing business. Reporting to the Director of External Reporting, the successful candidate will serve as a key member of the corporate finance team, partnering closely with external auditors and internal segment leaders globally to process and report for SEC filing and ensuring compliance in accordance with GAAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on senior manager looking to move into an industry role from public accounting to lead the external reporting department for a global business.

The responsibilities include overseeing the preparation, review, and submission of external financial reports, driving the development, maintenance, and implementation of accounting policies, serving as the technical accounting leader, managing relationships with internal and external auditors, and leading, mentoring, and developing the external reporting team.

The successful Senior Manager, External Reporting should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, a CPA, 8-10 years of experience with US GAAP, SEC reporting, audit/assurance, experience working within one of the Big 4 public accounting firms, and the ability to lead a small team.
