Operations Manager - Job Order Contracting

The Operations Manager - Job Order Contracting will report directly to senior leadership and be responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the Dallas office. This individual will serve as the operational leader, allowing executive leadership to focus on business growth and strategic initiatives.
- Lead and oversee all operational activities for the Dallas-area Job Order Contracting business.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and construction professionals.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Take direct ownership of Job Order Contracting projects when needed, providing hands-on leadership and support.
- Drive operational consistency, process improvement, and performance across multiple projects and contract vehicles.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with public and institutional customers.
- Leverage existing industry relationships to support business growth and create opportunities for future work.

For the Operations Manager - Job Order Contracting we are seeking:
- Proven experience leading operations, project management, or construction management teams within a general contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of Job Order Contracting (JOC), IDIQ, on-call, or similar recurring delivery models.
- Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and managing project teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop Project Managers.
- Established network of industry relationships that can contribute to long-term business growth.
- Strong financial, scheduling, and operational management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Background in K-12, municipal, higher education, healthcare, or public-sector construction projects is highly desirable.
- Base salary = $130k - $150k
- Truck allowance = $800/month
