Job Description
As a Superintendent in Springwater, NY, you will:
- Manage all day-to-day onsite construction activities
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Monitor productivity and project milestones
- Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance
- Conduct quality control inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications
- Coordinate material deliveries and site logistics
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Lead subcontractor and progress meetings
- Resolve field issues and coordinate solutions with project teams
- Maintain daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
- Oversee punch-list completion and project closeout efforts

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety regulations.
- Experience with managing construction projects in the property industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience
- Experience managing commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, or multi-family projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and scheduling
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship
- Proficiency with construction technology and reporting tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Ground-up construction experience
- Renovation and occupied-space project experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Construction Management degree or equivalent field experience
- Experience with project scheduling software
