Commercial Construction Estimator
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Estimating, the Commercial Construction Estimator will take ownership of estimating operations within the local market and support the company's continued expansion.
Lead the preparation of detailed conceptual, budgetary, and hard-bid estimates
Analyze drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop accurate pricing strategies
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals
Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
Collaborate with operations and business development teams throughout the pursuit process
Present estimates and recommendations to executive leadership
Support the development and continuous improvement of estimating processes and best practices

For the Commercial Construction Estimator we are seeking:
Minimum 5 to 7 years of commercial construction estimating experience
Proven ability to prepare competitive and accurate project estimates
Strong understanding of commercial construction means, methods, and pricing
Experience reviewing plans, specifications, subcontractor scopes, and bid packages
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work independently while helping build and lead a growing estimating function
