Job Description
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop estimates. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project requirements are met. Identify and evaluate potential project risks and provide recommendations for mitigation. Participate in bid reviews and presentations to stakeholders. Maintain an up-to-date database of costs and pricing for materials and labor. Stay informed about market trends and pricing fluctuations in construction materials and labor. Support contract negotiations by providing detailed cost analysis and insights.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Estimator should have: Experience with construction cost estimating and preparing competitive bids. Strong understanding of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Ability to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in cost assessments.
