Job Description
Lead a team of engineering technicians, controls specialists, and manufacturing engineers. Provide daily support to production operations and lead troubleshooting efforts for critical technical issues. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, yield enhancement, and cost reduction. Analyze operational data to identify trends and implement sustainable corrective actions. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve equipment performance and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). Support capital projects, equipment acquisitions, factory acceptance testing, and site acceptance testing (SAT). Oversee equipment qualification, requalification, and associated engineering documentation. Review and approve technical procedures, work instructions, and operational change documentation. Support investigations, CAPAs, and root cause analysis activities. Develop team capabilities through coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Provide regular project and operational status updates to leadership.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. 7-10 years of operations or manufacturing engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. Strong background in equipment design, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD layout development. Experience with plant expansion, high-speed equipment, or automation preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor engineers. Skilled in developing PFMEAs, timelines, and risk-based project decisions. Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
