Traveling General Superintendent / Director Of Field Operations
Our client is a nationally active commercial builder delivering complex ground-up and interior projects across multiple markets. The organization offers strong financial backing, a collaborative leadership team, and a project portfolio that includes industrial, food production, distribution, and high-end commercial environments.
Lead and develop Superintendents and field operations teams across multiple active projects. Oversee manpower planning, staffing strategy, and master project schedules. Drive safety, quality, and operational standards across all jobsites. Partner with project management, preconstruction, and design teams to ensure successful project delivery. Monitor project execution through closeout, resolving field challenges and mitigating risks.

A successful Traveling General Superintendent / Director Of Field Operations should have:
- 15+ years of commercial construction experience with leadership responsibility
- Proven background delivering ground-up projects valued at $15M+
- Experience in food & beverage, cold storage, warehouse, industrial, pharma, or life science facilities
- Strong administrative, scheduling, and operational management capabilities using Procore and Microsoft Project
- Demonstrated ability to lead field teams while remaining hands-on and solutions-oriented
Salary: Up to $250,000 base + bonus. $5,000 monthly per diem, with lodging and travel expenses fully covered. 3 weeks PTO plus company-paid travel home from project locations. Flexible nationwide location with opportunities to oversee high-profile projects across the US.
