Job Description

Lead onsite construction activities for ground-up big box retail projects exceeding 50,000 sq ft. Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, quality control, and site safety compliance. Maintain strong communication with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders. Drive project milestones while ensuring schedule and budget objectives are achieved. Travel throughout the Midwest and Southeast with company-supported rotational travel schedules.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Traveling Superintendent - Big Box Retail | Midwest & Southeast should have:

• Practical capability to oversee construction work across multiple project locations.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, schedules, materials, and daily site activities.
• Ability to read and apply construction plans and project specifications.
• Knowledge of quality checks and issue resolution during construction work.
• Confidence maintaining accurate site records and progress updates.
• Ability to coordinate construction activities across retail projects in the Midwest and Southeast.

What's on Offer

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 base salary. $600-$800 monthly vehicle allowance plus competitive per diem. Travel schedule allowing return home every other week for 3 days. Long-term career growth with a national contractor delivering diverse project types.
