Job Description
Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and timelines.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project scope.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate estimates align with project goals.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities within project estimates.
Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accurate and current pricing information.
Prepare bid proposals and present them to stakeholders as required.
Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs and budgets to ensure compliance with estimates.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Estimator should have:
- Experience with preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and market costs.
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
