Construction Assistant Superintendent
Client is a strong Augusta commercial construction general contractor that is continuing to expand their healthcare construction division.
Job Description
Assist in managing daily on-site construction operations and schedules. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Monitor work progress to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and address any on-site safety concerns. Collaborate with the Superintendent to resolve any issues that arise during construction. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Support quality control efforts to meet project standards. Communicate project updates to relevant stakeholders as needed.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Construction Assistant Superintendent should have: Knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes. Experience with scheduling and coordinating construction activities. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges promptly and efficiently. Proficiency in relevant construction management software is a plus.
