Job Description

Coordinate project activities across construction workstreams to keep schedules and priorities clear. Track project progress and share timely updates with relevant stakeholders. Help prepare and maintain project documents, schedules, and records. Work with internal teams and project partners to address day-to-day project needs. Monitor open items and follow up on actions needed to keep work moving. Support project planning discussions by organizing information and key updates. Help identify project issues and communicate them to the appropriate contacts. Maintain accurate project information to support informed decisions throughout construction activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Southport should have:

Experience with custom homes, luxury residential, or high-end renovations
2-5 years of construction experience, ideally with a GC, custom builder, or architect.
Strong understanding of plans, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Comfortable working in the field and coordinating with supers and subcontractors
Strong organization and communication skills with attention to detail
Hands-on, team-first mentality and comfortable working closely with ownership
