Senior Commercial Finance Manager
I am partnered with a $250M CPG Manufacturer on a newly created Senior Commercial Finance Manager. Reporting directly into the CFO, the role will lead and establish the commercial finance function and build out a team of analysts. Our client is rapidly growing through the backing of a PE firm along with their product innovation within the ready to eat and ready to serve protein sector. The organization is looking for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercialization finance commentary, partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and supply chain to optimize profitability, and manage the trade spends for the business.
Job Description:
- Lead commercial finance activities that provide clear financial insight for business decisions.
- Analyze financial results and explain key drivers of performance.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts to support commercial planning.
- Develop financial models to assess business opportunities and scenarios.
- Partner with commercial stakeholders to review financial performance and priorities.
- Present clear financial information to help leaders make timely decisions.
- Improve reporting processes to deliver accurate and useful commercial analysis.
The Successful Applicant:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, with focus in commercial finance, sales finance, marketing finance, or revenue growth management
- Manufacturing experience required, CPG or FMCG highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to interact with senior leaders and cross-functional leaders
