Construction Project Manager
Job Description
Lead healthcare, government, and institutional construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall financial performance. Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field personnel. Ensure projects meet safety, quality, regulatory, and compliance requirements. Identify and mitigate project risks while driving successful project delivery. Support business development efforts, client relationships, and pursuit of future opportunities. Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of client satisfaction.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. 10+ years of progressive construction management experience with a general contractor. Demonstrated success managing healthcare and/or government construction projects. Experience overseeing projects exceeding $20M in value. Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, estimating, contracts, and project controls. Proven ability to lead large project teams and multiple concurrent projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
