Job Description
Manage all aspects of retail construction projects from initiation to completion. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Monitor project schedules and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost parameters. Conduct regular site inspections to maintain safety and quality standards. Resolve on-site issues and make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track. Prepare and submit progress reports to relevant stakeholders. Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company policies. Foster effective communication among team members and external partners.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Retail Construction Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in retail construction
- Experience managing remodels, tenant improvements, and ground-up projects
- Strong knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing
- Ability to lead multiple trades in active environments
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel as required.
