About Our Client
My client has been serving the Western MA Construction Market for just shy of 30 years, beginning as a local roofing contractor and has now grown into a multi-faceted General Construction firm. They specialize in most major sectors of Construction Projects from $5M - $20M. They are very actively looking for an Assistant Project Manager to support a variety of ground up and renovations projects in the area.
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Public/Multifamily Projects will:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project time lines
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross- functional teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders, to ensure smooth project execution
- Contribute to budget management by monitoring project expenses, tracking costs, and identifying cost saving opportunities
- Assist in procurement activities
- Prepare and maintain project documentation
- Report and communicate effectively with Project Manager

The Successful Applicant
The successful Assistant Project Manager - Public/Multifamily Projects should have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction Technology, or related field preferred
- Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong literacy of MS Word and Excel
- Organization skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
