Superintendent - Construction - Greenwich
As a Superintendent - Construction - Greenwich, you will be responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day field operations on luxury custom home projects
- Overseeing projects from excavation and foundations through framing, interiors, and final turnover
- Supervising subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field personnel
- Coordinating foundation, structural steel, wood framing, and MEP activities
- Managing project schedules and driving critical milestones
- Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, interior designers, and homeowners
- Reviewing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, flooring, and specialty finishes
- Coordinating subcontractor sequencing, material deliveries, and site logistics
- Conducting quality-control inspections throughout all phases of construction
- Identifying and resolving field issues before they impact schedule or quality
- Maintaining daily reports and project documentation
- Managing punch-list completion and homeowner turnover
- Enforcing jobsite safety and OSHA requirements
The successful applicant:
- Has 5+ years of Superintendent or residential field leadership experience
- Has strong custom home or luxury residential construction experience
- Has experience with ground-up construction strongly preferred
- Has demonstrated experience with at least one of the following: excavation and sitework, foundations, underpinning, structural steel, wood framing
- Is able to oversee construction from early structural phases through high-end finishes
- Has experience with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, and luxury finish packages
- Has a strong understanding of residential construction sequencing
- Is able to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Has proven subcontractor management and scheduling experience
- Has experience working alongside architects, designers, engineers, and homeowners
- Has exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Has strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Has OSHA 30 Certification preferred
