Job Description

Responsibilities:

Review demand forecasts, production schedules, and inventory requirements to develop material plans.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels while reducing shortages and excess stock.
Partner with purchasing teams to generate purchase requisitions and support timely order placement.
Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and lead times, expediting critical materials when necessary.
Maintain accurate planning parameters and data within ERP/MRP systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient material flow throughout production.
Identify supply chain risks and support corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
Prepare and analyze reports covering inventory status, shortages, and planning performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

Ideal Candidate:

3+ years of experience in material planning, supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis capabilities.
Experience supporting regulated manufacturing industries is preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
