Project Superintendent
One of Alabama's most respected GC's is seeking a Project Superintendent. Build a wide range of project types including banks, medical, retail, etc.

Known for their personable approach and management style, this GC has remained a leader with regards to employee retention and overall satisfaction across the board. They were established over 40 years ago and have maintained a local presence across the area since then. With two offices in Alabama and Georgia, about 30 employees, and projects spanning the Commercial, Automotive, and Manufacturing industries, this company is an excellent choice for anyone seeking a personable atmosphere with exciting work. They have both a Commercial and Industrial division. Their commercial work is varied in both size and market sector. Their Industrial work primarily consists of Automotive Manufacturing facilities that are located in AL and GA.
Job Description
- Develop the Project Vision and Create the Project Schedule
- Supervise entire construction staff, ensuring project deadlines are met
- Predict and overcome project challenges
- Maintain a strong relationship with Project Managers
- Lead weekly meetings to ensure the team is working together successfully and delivering quality work
- Maintain OSHA requirements
- Mentor less experienced construction professionals
- Track project documentation, tasks, issues, etc.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent
- Proven experience leading a ground-up project
- Technically-savvy individuals will be more successful due to the increased use of technology on jobsites
- Must be willing to travel across Alabama and Georgia
