My client is hiring for a Safety Director to lead the entire safety department and act as the senior safety professional for the organization in the Baltimore County region.
Job Description:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction projects.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Provide training sessions to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training programs.
- Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Promote a proactive approach to workplace safety among all team members.
The Successful Applicant:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards within the construction industry.
- Experience managing safety programs and conducting workplace training sessions.
- Ability to analyze safety data and develop actionable plans for improvement.
