Superintendent Opportunity
Lead all onsite construction activities for a $22M+ ground-up military project in Charleston. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, field personnel, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain compliance with military, federal, and government construction standards. Oversee site work, concrete foundations, vertical construction, and project execution. Drive project schedules, quality standards, and field productivity. Conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors and project stakeholders. Collaborate closely with Quality Control and Safety personnel to ensure project compliance. Manage an onsite team of approximately three individuals, including Quality Control and Safety leadership. Ensure all work is completed according to specifications, contract requirements, and company standards. Support successful delivery of future ground-up projects throughout North and South Carolina following project completion.
A successful Superintendent should have:
- 6+ years of Superintendent experience, preferably at a senior level.
- Proven experience leading ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Experience with military, federal, government, healthcare, university, or other highly regulated projects.
- Strong knowledge of site work, foundations, concrete, and multi-trade coordination.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to follow strict processes, specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Experience working on military bases is highly preferred.
- Stable employment history with a track record of successful project delivery.
- Ability to travel and support future projects throughout North and South Carolina.
- Must be eligible to work on military/federal projects and pass applicable background requirements.
