About us

Hale Kalo Kitchen has been serving plate lunches and local comfort food in Kapolei since 2009. We're family run, and our regulars range from construction crews on their lunch break to families at dinner. We're known for our kalua pig, loco moco and garlic shrimp, and for a team that treats each other like ohana.

What you'll do

Greet guests, take orders and keep tables moving during the lunch and dinner rush
Run food, refill drinks and check in on every table
Get to know our regulars and their usual orders
Handle payments on our POS and close out your tips at the end of your shift
Help with bussing, table resets and side work, because everybody pitches in

What we're looking for

1+ year of serving, hosting or customer facing restaurant experience preferred
Calm and friendly when it gets busy
Available for weekend shifts (required)
Hawaii food handler card, or willing to get one before your first shift
Reliable transportation to Kapolei

Shifts

Lunch: 10:30am to 3pm
Dinner: 3pm to 8pm
We're open 7 days a week, and weekend availability is required.
