Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Multiple Direct Support Professional (DSP) openings in Queens, NY.
ProMed Staffing Resources is seeking Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem Direct Support Professionals for one of our key clients in Queens, NY. This is an eight-hour shift in person position paying up to $19/hour. This is a Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM in person role - NO WEEKENDS. Apply today and unlock the possibilities!
The DSP Responsibilities:
- Activities of daily living- includes bathing, feeding, toileting, showering, dressing patients
- MUST be comfortable with both high and low functioning patients
- Will accompany patients on Community Outings/ Community learning techniques
- Documentation is required for progress notes updates
- Care and Supervise patients
- Cleaning, changing linens, cooking, and organizing the home (as needed)
Successful candidates must have:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Covid Vaccine preferred
- 6 months + of experience caring for patients
