Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and compound physicians' prescriptions and dispense medications within regulatory guidelines.
- Consult with customers regarding medication use and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients and resolve complex issues related to their medications.
- Perform first and second verification of prescription orders and conduct drug utilization reviews.
- Communicate effectively with patients and prescribers, fielding inquiries and addressing concerns.
- BS in Pharmacy or PharmD.
- RPh license required.
- Attention to detail and excellent patient care skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to pharmacy operations.
