Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.
- Define database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.
- Design solutions that cater to the end to end life cycle of the information being managed.
- Hands on experience in performance tuning techniques.
- Define security and backup procedures based on the criticality of data element.
- Lead the design and prototyping; Guide developers in solving complex technical problems.
- Translate complex business processes and concepts into simple technology frameworks for developers to realize it.
- Align the solution to the enterprise standards and guidelines.
- 15+ years of technology delivery experience with at least 10 years focus in database system architecture and design.
- Experience producing high quality Solution architecture and design documents.
- Hands on experience in working with popular database products like MS SQL server, Oracle and good working knowledge on SQL.
- Ability to socialize and communicate the technical architecture and design to business and developers.
- Experience in cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS) and have familiarity with at least one prominent Cloud vendor (AWS preferable).
- Experience in security aspects of data storage and retrieval.
- Good understanding of DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools like Jenkins.
