Key Responsibilities:
- As Production Support engineer gather operational requirements, develop and document job flows
- Perform production system operational analysis as needed
- Solid understanding of business needs and detail requirements
- Develop test cases, test scripts and perform user acceptance testing for data application projects
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
- Independently determines and develops approach to solutions
- Develop User Acceptance test cases and data sets
- Collaborate with team members and interact across organizational lines to meet business objectives
- Worked in the business area or closely/directly with business are to gather business requirements/rules logic and develop code.
- UNIX and SQL Programming
- Well versed with UNIX operating system mainly with LINUX
- Shell scripting experience, mainly using ksh/bash
- Executing and monitoring jobs in UNIX environment (Autosys tool)
- Ability to read and analyze production log files
- Strong SQL experience
- Running SQL queries against analytical databases
- Python experience
- Autosys experience
- Perl experience is a plus
- Big data/Hadoop, Hive experience is a plus
- JAVA experience is a plus
- Certification in areas such as UNIX and shell scripts, Oozie and SQL
- Mortgage industry experience or financial / credit analysis
- Solid communications skills – verbal and written
- Detail oriented and excellent organization skills
- Years Experience is 5+
